Full Song of Ice and Fire theory *spoilers*

• Daenerys is Azor Ahai aka lord of light. We sure as hell know its not Stannis, and Melisandre isn’t stupid enough to believe that either. Daenerys was born at Dragonstone, therefor she was born amidst salt and smoke, as the prophecy predicts Azor Ahai will be reborn. Not to mention Daenerys has already destroyed/conquered several cities with fire. Plus the woods witch predicts that Azor Ahai will be Targaryen. So thats clear.

• The Nights Watch is Lightbringer (Azor Ahai’s sword). We all know that shortly after John becomes Captain he gets stabbed to death at the end of Dance with Dragons but Melisandre is there and she can bring people back from death with FIRE which coincidentally is how light bringer is made. More importantly, one of the key phrases in the Nights Watch oath is “I am the sword in the darkness”. Azor Ahai fights the darkness, Lightbringer is the flaming sword that chases it away. I don’t think I need to mention that all Melisandre sees in her visions are SNOW, and that its pretty clear she’s just using Stannis to get to John.

In conclusion, John and the Night’s Watch are Ice and Daenerys is Fire (song of ice and fire). They’re Azor Ahai and Lightbringer, and she and John are both Targaryens which means they get to rightfully take back the Iron throne.
